Marine parks such as the Similan and Surin Islands close roughly from mid-May to mid-October. Many inland parks close sections such as trails and summits in the rainy season. Each park in this guide lists its closed months.

How much is the entrance fee for a national park in Thailand?

For foreigners usually 100 to 500 baht per person, sometimes more for the most popular marine parks. Thai nationals pay a lower rate. Fees in this guide are indicative; always check with the park.

When is the best time to see waterfalls in Thailand?

At the end of the rainy season, roughly September to November, when the flow is strongest. In the dry season (March to May) some waterfalls almost dry up.
